Serves 2 people.
Ingredients
- 1 lb of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Chili flakes
- 6-8 cloves of garlic, chopped fine
- Salt
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Steps
- Wash and thoroughly dry the shrimp
- Season lightly with salt
- Heat olive oil in a pan
- Once the oil is hot, add in the shrimp
- Cook the shrimp for about a minute on each side, or until they become pink on both sides
- Add in the chopped garlic and cook for about 30 seconds
- Add in the lemon juice and chili flakes
- Stir the shrimp and cook for approximately 3 minutes
- Add in the freshly chopped parsley and butter
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir continuously
- Let cook for another 2-3 minutes
- When the butter has melted and the sauce thickened, the shrimp are ready to serve!
